IMHO, this beautiful quote, sums
up dharma and thus led to a writing sharing on dharma/adharma
Because the tiger acts in accordance to its nature and knows
not anything else, therefore he is divine and there is no evil in him; if he
questioned himself, he could feel a criminal.

Dharma is your nature... what the Whole as chosen to be through 'you' for the Whole;
Or those qualities 'you' have chosen to be imbued with as
an individuation of the Whole for
the Whole
Dhrama is thus your purpose to be ....that role 'you' play in the larger picture...for the
Universe/God/Whole;
Dhrama thus implies being in accordance with the Universe/God/Whole
For you come with a
certain nature ... towards certain purposes....for the Whole;
Thus each ones
dharma… nature... purpose ... what they have chosen to experience, explore and contribute through...is unique.
And adharma is only when you are not in tune
with your unique nature… purpose to be...
thus when you are not in tune with the Whole... and its game plan!
Thus has dharma
come to be known as your 'duty'
but when more deeply
understood it implies more about you the individuation
being in sync with you the Whole!
The apple
tree must produce apples, not pears
The scorpion
as Buddha said, must sting; but not in retaliation must He, for his nature was
forgiveness
Butchers need kill
Soldiers fight
Peace activists...
create peace!
Some one will fight
for trees not to be cut
Someone will cut them
to make paper;
Some will be
interested in the beaching of the Whales
Some will not;
Each one is
drawn towards their DHARMA
none being right, wrong,
better or lesser;
And being in sync with
what you are
being in at-one-ment with
what you are in every Now
is following your dharma!
Thus adharama
only means separation from ...ignorance of... your true nature (it does not
impose judgments of bad... evil... less)
yes, separation from
...ignorance of your true nature in the microcosm of your current
life - from your purpose to be in the now...
and thus in the
larger picture -separation from ...ignorance of your true nature as All That
Is! That which you are as the Whole!
If you can
take it deeper
When
the religious texts say the "Gods come down to earth when adharma takes
over"
they do not
imply a war of 'good' versus 'evil'
It only implies that
'point' ...when consciousness (prakriti) within the game
in the
separation and ignorance of the game ... forgets it's larger game plan... it's
way back home so to say;
and thus... those
aspects of Consciousness which are out of the game... the so called Gods... The
Whole Which witnesses....
enter the game
to guide it back into being in sync with the ordained game plan!
Self enabling... self
to Self!

yours

Dharma is not 'duty';
dharma is not 'the good' that opposes evil; dharma is being in sync
with those aspects of the Universe flowing through 'you' -Divyaa
