APPRECIATE YOUR SELF JUST AS YOU ARE

1-Take a moment to stop and think about what you give to the people and life around you. See how you make a difference. Do not beat yourself for not being good enough. But know that you are great just as you are. Feel the relief this brings! Believe it!

2-Write your strengths and positive qualities; claim them; delight in them. Become aware of your limitations and knowing that their opposite strength exists inherently and wholly intact within you...state (and focus on) the positive quality as an affirmation!

3-Look at yourself through the eyes of your beloveds and friends. Revel in every compliment you have received.

4-Make a done list! List all that you have done, are doing…however small a step it maybe!

5-Make a creative collage of your self. Include the many aspects you are and the various roles you play. Include pictures, quotes, cartoons whatever you feel like! This is not only fun to do, and good to look at but the energy signature you emanate through this creative endeavor is vibrant and potent.

EMBRACE YOUR SHADOW SELF

6-Each of us has characteristics we define as 'good' and those we define as 'bad.' The parts of ourselves that we continually reject want to be acknowledged and loved. Until we honor these aspects, they will continue to assert themselves. They will do whatever they can to get our attention. What aspects of yourself do you reject? Take a few moments to open to the parts of yourself that you do not love. See each one honestly for what it is. Explore the wounds and the motives that gave rise to its condition. Love a wounded part of yourself and it will heal.


7- Make a gift list- all the gifts your shadow self brings to you! Identify some of your own angers, fears, resentments, jealousies, hatreds and prejudices. Acknowledge their usefulness in showing you aspects of your shadow self and where there are areas in your life that lack love. Then, send love to these shadowed aspects so that they have less need to reveal themselves in uncontrollable ways. For example if you are angry with x…do why why why…maybe you are angry because you feel powerless? So the anger becomes a clue to move into self empowerment!
