GURU CONSCIOUSNESS -Quotes

For a few days i will send quotes on Guru Consciousness...
for at its deepest ....all gurus, guides, teachers
friends ,family, seeming foes
sacred texts, books, mails
life events...
together ...make up Guru Consciousness.
That consciousness which is with us, through what we call our individual existence, in different ways and forms and faces!

Lets start with some simple practical ones from my writings over the years:

Each one resonates to their own 'path'. Thus there are no wrong or right paths! When anyone asks me how they know if some thing is right for them on their spiritual journey ...I tell them that if they are drawn to it: the path, guru, guide, chant, discourse, meditation... whatever...in the now? That’s the best clue! For then it becomes a vital 'guru' to you in the now! If not, then don't pursue it just because everyone around you is! And when it’s served its purpose in your Now- you will automatically be drawn to some thing else that you require in the now! Sometimes it is your 'guru' consciousness... guiding you from within ...that you need to incorporate another path or step! And when something brings you to the point of surrender, where there is no more real seeking, where contradiction and even some confusion can easily co-exist within your deeper surrender ...then this centering ...makes one feel like having come home to ones final guru...and yet it only points at the last steps that got you here, yet each was vital!

If something doesn't beckon you, it’s not for you! And thus does it not beckon! It’s all in reverse...if we haven't chosen to explore 'that' path in this life...if we don't need it for this current life experience....we will have no encodements for it to play out within us... and thus are we not attracted!! But if anything repels...ah... time to look within...why? There is no need to be attracted to it, but shunning wont work! Reach a neutral ground....or fall in love

A true teacher’s, guide’s ,guru’s or facilitator’s unspoken goal is do their ‘work’ so well…in aiding you reach your Godself... that you will not 'require' them as move into a journey of enjoying like minded expansion together!

Path’s cross, teaching happens, there is a connection, a resonance... towards your own experience of...

As we take our exploration of self deeper and deeper...we must remember that ultimately going 'deeper' is reaching the most simple! And the going deeper is only a tool to arrive at the utter simplicity of it all! Or it becomes ‘kaan rus’- intellectual mind games taking us away rather than towards.There comes a point in the journey when we view the complete redundancy of words and concepts ...indeed of all that we have ‘learnt’. And this is the guru consciousness's real work...to enable you to throw out all your learning! To move into its utter simplicity in your day to day life.

It is not your Gurus words that reach you but their energy fields; for they are merely carriers of the inexpressible ........which gets conveyed not thru the words themselves but through their consciousness; it is consciousness expressing to consciousness ... thus enabling transformation rather than only intellectual understanding...

LETS GO DEEPER

Dearest all,

Here are some excerpts from various Guru Purnima meditations of mine, over the years,

edited into 'sutra' form to enable reading yes,

but shorn of the plethora of excess words- to move into their gnosis more easily!

Guru Purnima at its deepest, is our homage to Guru Consciousness itself

comprising of your special guru in any Now yes,

and the many gods, masters , guides and teachers you have mingled with in the physical or inner dimensions;

but also its many different faces ,known and unknown - your friends, family, colleagues seeming strangers and foes are all part of guru consciousness

as are it's many different forms ,visible and invisible - sacred texts, books, emails, movies, nature, life beautiful life and its many events

So on guru purnima, don't define 'guru' ... be in homage and thankfulness to guru consciousness in its largest sense

View Guru Consciousness as that aspect of consciousness ...that gestalt of consciousness...

whose very purpose to exist, is to keep all aspects of consciousness connected to the Whole, through Its game of seeming separation and ignorance.

So that when Its units sojourn far and wide and seemingly forget who they are

this aspect of consciousness, remains intact within them as the way back home!

It then takes the faces of Guru's ...known and unknown... visible and invisible

and comes as guidance...as gyaan... as texts... as classes... as satsangs...as eureka's !

And even more importantly, it remains intact within you at your deepest core, always holding you in its embrace

Guru consciousness is that aspect of consciousness which has explored before you! That is all...!
Explored ... experienced ... fulfilled its role in the cosmic play... and in that it share's with you its journey!
It has not sat loftily separate as the god, guru , master... in the skies or heavens!
It contains within it the experiential sum of All That Is...
and that is why Guru Consciousness at its deepest, does not reach you through your masters, gurus, teachers words ,but through energy fields...!

Guru consciousness does not only help you go 'back home' as many think...
...it plays its role in all aspects of the journey.
It indeed helps you how to best enter the game when that is required...!
It helps you how to best play the game when you are within it...!
It does not preach about cutting short your journey as much share how to make the most of it!
And only when 'you' have fulfilled your role in the cosmic play does guru consciousness help you go back...home...!
Thus based where you are in your journey
in this life, and in the larger cycle,
does Guru Consciousness come your way for what you need in the Now! Where ever you are,be it to enter into certain areas...to move away in others...

Guru Consciousness does not seek acquiescence
It indeed encourages you to explore...explore the many paths even...to debate... and to question;
To understand deeper... and explore deeper still...and question more... to retrospect...
Till finally... there is no 'seeking' left;
When that 'happens'...when contradictions can easily co-exist, because the sum larger than its parts has taken seed within you,
then Guru Consciousness plays its 'master' move... role...
which it awaits from the beginning of the game.!
It then encourages 'commitment' and 'dedication' and 'surrender'
It then attracts you... beckons you... beguiles you to surrender beyond the questions...which may well surface and fizzle away; beyond the contradictions which will co-exist
beyond the intellectual debates of the mind ...

Debates belong to the mind
And at its deepest, Guru consciousness takes you beyond the mind,and its words and concepts
beyond all those ponderous understandings and complex ideas...
to its simple feel good sum within the heart,seemingly defying eveything around.
And as you move out of the mind,
into this simple sum of well being in your heart
do you become one with Guru Consciousness…
And ‘do’ the same service unto others... as it did unto you...
