STUDENT AND TEACHER

When the student is ready the teacher appears,
And yet
When the teacher is ripe for expression
the students emerge.

It is they who trigger
they who ignite
they who fan
the flame within;
they are the oil
drop by drop
on the sticks of her knowing.

And in this coming together
of its two aspects
does consciousness
become aware of Its Glory;
Through ‘teaching’ and ‘learning’
oil and stick... like
each only plays its role in this story

Of an ever expanding consciousness!

And fused together as its new awareness, no one can tell them apart.

For a ever expanding higher awareness
Does consciousness
Continue to, further ignite and impart.

Through the student the teacher appears.
Through the teacher the students emerge.
In consciousness do all these comings and goings disappear.
