Dearest all,
We can call this faith; we can call this your truth; - for at a deeper level faith is not blind, it only uses deeper eyes to see... and the heart to know. This is why Christ said to cut out your eyes- he did not mean it literally but implied your truths so deeply engraved - that you not go by what you see around you! It will not matter what things 'appear' as on the outside; it will not matter what 'everyone' says ... when you know it to be your truth inspite of seeming outer data.... will it certainly begin to reflect all around ... and at a deper level... will you be able to see it within everything... indeed everything will zoom you back to your truth!
The senses, and the mind can only bring you data, information, knowledge.... but its TRUTH has to be inculcated beyond the senses and beyond the mind. So yes the senses serve a vital purposein helping you first recieve input and the mind serves a vital purpose in helping you understand the different aspects of self, the other,life and god... helps you reason and doubt and explore further and affirm.... but at the end of all this, when the senses and mind have done their work... and the TRUTH unfurls within you, it is beyond debate; beyond words; beyond the senses and the mind.It just is.
On a similar note, recently a beloved student asked me that all I teach him touches a chord deep within him; it all sounds so fascinatingly 'right', it makes 'sense' and has helped him so tremendously in life.... but how does he know its the truth? And I bow to that question because it was required for me to know deep within that I know; his question affirmed this answer to me silently within. And to him my answer was at different levels
-I (or anyone) can truly only impart their truths; if it isn't my truth...if its intellectual understanding only ....it will not reach or touch the other! It will remain dry information... perhaps interesting ... but devoid of life to transform another. -Thus its not my words that reach him, but their vital life force which triggers of his own knowing within... -Yet my knowing; and sharing thereof; is only sensory data,information,input for him... which through his own inner process can become his truths or not; my truth cannot be yours; it can only help you reach your own truths.... so it is a process... receieve input, vital life force, allow that to raise within you your questions, understanding... debate. explore till you arrive at 'your' truths... -Reaching your truths implies the deeper gnosis that there are no 'untruths', so each one will go that 'teacher/guru/master/book' whose truth they need in the Now! This removes that debate whose teacher is 'better' or more right! It removes that inner debate of who should you listen to! The truth you need to embrace in the now will attract you...and at a deeper level ... lead you one who can trigger it within! - In the meantmie if your life is enhanced for the better you know your truths are unravelling... rest in that till you...
