I share with you a snatch of a conversation I had at a book store! I was standing in line to pay ...with a selection of books from the 'spiritual' counter in my hand...and a young man behind me asked me what does all this seeking and inner work do for a person in 'real' terms? Where does it take us in the here and now ? And my answer , briefly summed up for a passing chat in a not so long line was:
"It is simply about moving into a higher frequency energy field and its effects!
As you do, you attract (or reflect) likewise- all that resonates to a higher and finer frequency - in simple terms joy and love ... inner abundance ... fulfillment ... stillness... and the sublime or divine (whatever it means to you ) if you so choose.... and things and situations that make 'you' feel more that way!!
Also, as energy fundamentally resists its opposite, your energy fields... your very beingness indeed... dispels from itself automatically (or doesn't allow entry to ) the denser frequencies of pain and lack and turmoil and fears... and things and situations that make 'you' feel that way!! Think in pictures.... they bounce off so to say! They cannot enter you so to say! The light of the finer frequency dispels the darkness of the denser within you so to say!
So yes spiritual endeavour is about feeling increasingly good... expanding your energy field where ever you are in the now... moving into increasingly higher and finer frequencies ... becoming a larger and larger chalice to hold whatever Divinity means to you in your current context be it love and joy ... success or abundance ....be it life beautiful life and its passion to do whatever you are drawn towards... be it that almost inexplicable all pervading sense of fulfillment and thankfulness .... be it that stillness that cannot be described by the spoken word....
And yes as 'your' vibratational frequency increases...you impact your surroundings and your world likewise ...its not 'yours alone'; and indeed you shape it from this higher frequency rather than being shaped by the lower frequency situations...
This is the path of Tantra!
Start by being in thankfulness for all that 'works' in your life; finding things to be joyful about-however small they may appear at the beginning; Following your feel good factors-yes!Finding things to appreciate around and within...placing your focus on the higher and finer in whatever ways make themselves available to you... be it friends or music or meditation or a good book or .....
And sure...by becoming aware of what makes your frequency change or drop... choosing to not remain there... switching your focus at that point and rethinking the situation in more constructive ways in the longer term. How?
By understanding 'self', 'life', 'the other' and 'God/Universe'...! This awareness itself brings in eureka's that automatically make you think in new positive life affirming ways...! It brings in a dawning that automatically propels you into a more joyful and restful frequency....!All you need to really do is open the door...
That's why I am buying these books!As a gift for someone... as a doorway into whatever makes her feel good in the 'here and now' of her life!
And yes that's why there is a book for me too... for this door leads to newer doors infinitely... there is ever increasing awareness... and higher or finer or wider energy fields... and beingness.... in the here and now!
