A PRE- MEDIT SHARING THAT SETS THE GROUND -TILLS THE SOIL SO TO SAY- FOR THE MEDITATION THAT FOLLOWS

Welcome to another beautiful occasion ... we can call it Buddha Purnima or the Wesak medit or more simply –an  homage to light and its 'element' fire & all that it implies! Indeed homage to humanity becoming one with light and fire and all it implies!  For those who participated in the Akshaye triti, it is a sort of continuation; and for others it is a very auspicious occasion for both- self personally -and for humanity. The difference between the two occasions is subtle… in Akshaye  triti we as a group hosted an event for humanity…there was a somewhat unknown factor… it was indeed a preparation for this… and yes I am sure other groups must have contributed in their own unique ways like we did especially  through receiving the second coming of the waters! Here- in Buddha Purnima we join many others …worldwide… in a much celebrated human and esoteric event and indeed this joining ‘hands’ with all… this oneness with all humanity …is an integral part of today’s session. Also in Akshaye we invoked the Supreme Yin –feminine aspect- Shakti -Energy through the symbolic element of water; and today we invoke the Supreme Yang- male - Shiva- Awareness as light and fire. Yet one cannot be without the other so while our focus is on one, or the other, in each session, we are in homage to both in both! To love, wisdom, and its divine will…

I will speak briefly on what Wesak is, what Buddha Purnima is really about ...do listen meditatively because this background always enables the meditation; its like the tilling of the soil on which the medit takes deeper root ...so I can keep the med literally ‘light’...(pun intended!)…scatter the words lightly...and use the power of symbols and images beyond words...beyond the intellect. So yes, listening meditatively means paying full attention, yet lightly… not seeking so much ‘to understand’… not grappling with Q’s… but like hearing music  or doing darshan or indeed doing 'trataka'…focusing on a  flame- not trying to understand the flame or learn about it but just a rapt attention... thereby allowing the flame to transfer its attributes into you. Closing your eyes will help – as the conscious analyzing mind rests in that action- and the subconscious accepting mind is freed to translate ‘words’ into their wordless essence deep within you! It’s almost like seeds being scattered-into you… taking root somewhere… and over time becoming your ‘knowing’! You may then read about it in a book or hear it expressed somewhere sometime... and feel...  feel a sense of ah yes I understand…I know this…

*******

Historically Buddha Purnima celebrates Gautam Buddha’s birth, day of enlightenment, and death; a deeper message in this being that this is inherent for all who are born! It whispers to us that in our birth -individually and as the human race – is enlightenment inherent! As is ‘death’!  Not only physical death...but what Buddha really died into - eternal light… and its deathlessness indeed! Thus ‘death’ as in going beyond death; a death that renders death as null and void; indeed it refers more to the expansion from  indivuated personal self into becoming one with eternal infinite universal consciousness!!  And that’s what we gather here for today…to celebrate, tap into, pay homage to, and emanate for all- the ‘fire’ of this death- which grants eternal life.

‘Buddha’ the word or name means enlightened one (in-lightened) as in literally ‘filled with light’; Buddha also means ‘No self’ ...the light of awareness and the infinity bestowing attribute of fire… having erased the personal identity that separates you from the universal light… that you already are!

Thus Buddha Purnima or Wesak doesn’t only celebrate ‘Gautam’ Buddha… who was one of the humans who attained this Buddhic consciousness …one who completed the human game… one who  fulfilled the highest human potential, indeed fulfilled its destiny for spirit! Indeed whom we know as ‘Gautam Buddha’ is beyond the Buddhic plane now… so really today we celebrate Buddhic Consciousness itself; we celeberate an aspect of consciousness which (simply put)  we can call  ‘pure awareness’ …symbolized by light… fire … and at its full strength refers to Shiva!

The ‘Wesak’ ceremony, has got its name from the vaisakhi month in which it occurs and thus the Wesak valley in the Himalayas where it occurs. It is the time of the Taurus Full Moon – a time when Earth- the material plane symbolized by Taurus- receives the highest light quotient from this plane of Light -our source and goal! All festivals (western or eastern) are special portals- openings when the ‘universe’ floods us with its/our different aspects- so that even in the game of separation we remain connected to these aspects of self that we really are! For example, Christmas emanates love… Diwali celebrates abundance… Holi the infiniteness of life etc etc… and these portal days were made into ‘festivals’ so that humanity could focus on these qualities, on the essence and thus avail of them or tap more powerfully into them! And today is about Light! Awareness! It is when we are flooded with the highest quotient of Light… and its attributes… and thus it is especially auspicious to meditate and honor light today. However whether you do or not- the light (or essence of different festivals on festival days) permeates you….unconsciously or consciouslythrough day- to- day life… through sleep states and yes through the conscious focus of celebrations or meditation or gatherings it builds up …one harnesses more… for self and thus for all …and ‘for all’…oneness with all… is what today is about! Indeed Buddha and Christ come together in this sacred ritual… symbolic of west and east; symbolic of wisdom (Buddha) and Love (Jesus) symbolic of both aspects of Light. If you think about it in day to day ways- understanding implies love… love implies understanding surely?   Together they imply the will of god or Divine Self… the divine game plan to experience and indeed amplify both …through the human experience!

Buddhic Consciousness does not unravel in humans until one is deeper into their spiritual path … many lives are spent exploring separated self till we begin to regain our true consciousness and indeed contribute to it infinite enhancement.  Many humans are increasingly tapping into it, many are established in it, many are  in touch with states even beyond it… but now humanity ready as whole is ready to move into this consciousness- our heritage- our source or goal… and that’s what today is really about… to enable all, as all enable us; for us to gather as groups- harness the buddhic consciousness strongly enough to anchor it for humanity! To bring in the new messiah- Buddhists call the new messiah Maitreya- feminine Buddha - implying the yin yang whole ness of the new human; Hindus call the new avatar Kalki- which actually refers to each and every one of us who flower through ‘time’ and space experience… thru the yuga’s of increasing separation… through the much maligned kali yuga- actually the finale to precceed the homecoming....to become a Buddha or Christ each! To regain our Buddhic consciousness!

Our contribution as a group was first through the yin element of water… and now through the yang element of fire… agni… as it symbolizes Light and the Buddhic plane and its higher aspect Shiva awareness in ways that would take us hours if not days and life times to truly understand wholly!! Thus we use a symbol- fire -and focus on it knowing its deeper aspects transfer to us wordlessly…

Thus becoming this consciousness …reaching this plane…embodying this body  is called awakening (to light) or enlightenment (filled with universal light) or ‘liberation’ ( from limited individuated self)…and naturally implies  experiencing its attributes … awareness of all that is… thus its wisdom and stillness; oneness with all… thus love…oneness with Divine self thus oneness with Divine will. Thus Buddhic consciousness, symbolized by light and its element of fire implies:

-Expansion of identity beyond individuality merger with Self - expansion  or freedom from   the separative ignorance of personal consciousness/and the game of adhrama to oneness with Divine self- Dharma- universal consciousness! In deeper terms it is the move from I am God or I am That or I am the tree, the flower, the universe to God I am.. .That I am… the tree I am… this is a very subtle yet very potent shift…

-Expansion to oneness with ‘others’- with family, friends, larger milieu, through day -to day life, through marriage, groups etc; to  deeper oneness with humanity through satsangs and the larger picture of spiritual growth;  to the   deepest state of union… merger… at-one-ment with all that is (the oneness I am talking about is not intellectual- but in analogy like you shampoo each strand of hair lovingly with care- not as different hairs which you have to look after- but as your one head of hair! In this expansion you naturally …automatically…. Move into a state of compassion and love!

-Expansion to oneness with fire… call it God or Divine selves will…and its game plan; thus automatically into a state of empowered surrender; automatically into its stillness; automatically into its creative state of passion….and straddling both action in inaction or vice versa; automatically into propensity to remove the old and redundant towards infinite growth and eternal life! (Kali or archangel Michael); automatically understanding its inherent friction as existence (Mythologically represented by naradmuni) not conflict!

-Expansion to oneness with light itself - its knowing –wisdom- gnosis- - through oneness with…; this knowing is not  ‘understanding’…its not psychic ability…its one with light and all it reveals…its universal truths. Masters, gurus speak from here …inspired writings …people who shape world …inventions… tap into this. This oneness with, this pure knowing is actually difficult to describe …its like trying to describe music to a deaf man…I have no way to explain it as it is beyond words…so the best I can put it into words… from my personal experience… is that you don’t assimilate or understand things… you just become one with them… so you ‘know’ it more powerfully than through external senses. I cannot actually say I am ‘seeing’ or hearing’ things…but more that I am becoming one with….alas our language is not geared… while I may use words “higher’ …“expanding,”…its actually about going within…to a point; Light is not like light we know…gold silver etc… more like crystal clarity…

Here we use the inner five senses- Buddhic sight is Divine Vision… the all seeing ness as light itself… direct knowing… perception within ; Buddhic hearing is that all important yet subtle… comprehension; Buddhic touch/ feeling – is compassion -empathy- healing- oneness for the whole as a whole ; Buddhic taste and  smell… is in-tuition …which literally means in touch with the ideal…with the essence beyond apparent form; indeed what we call our sixth sense is Buddhic consciousness’s primary sense!

So beloveds, Buddha Purnima celebrates this state… inherent for all! This is where Jesus, Buddha others reached - ‘men’ …from our history who played the game of individuation & separation and regained their source or goal; not mythological ideals or avatars…thus today’s meditation is our

-Dedication to this light- fire- radiance- its attributes….for self …and humanity; dedication to touching our inherent divine potentials …our destiny as ‘man’ …

-It is about this macrocosmic light …fire… being anchored in the microcosm human body!! This is a very important aspect of today’s meditation- because we have to prepare our human bodies to be able to hold this consciousness towards experiencing the magnified human experience on earth…not only as ethereal beings!

-It is about creating a grid of Light… with Light Workers all over the earth ; connecting the unique spark/light of every human to every human….so see this in your minds eye…see this vision…of countless sparks connecting with each other creating a  sacred grid…a sacred vortices…a sacred Chalice….

-In meditation we do this beyond words- beyond intellectual understanding…in ‘real’… in buddhic consciousness ways!

-In gatherings we unite with light workers, and in acting as one…we amplify the potency and magnify our power

-Know many have touched this buddhic consciousness, many are established, many touching higher, many established higher -each ‘one’ enabling each one…Let his be the conscious minds fertile food which will allow the symbols within our meditation to work…the words really are meaningless…the real work is done through the silence between them…from where they arise…

Come beloveds, shut your eyes, and allow the music to permeate you…as we go into meditation...
