STILLNESS - THAT NO SWORD CAN TAKE FROM US
"My greatest wealth is the deep stillness in
which I strive and grow and win what the world cannot take from me with fire or
sword." Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Dearest all, a
powerful quote It can be
unraveled endlessly, and I could write it afresh every time I write about it indeed... to really
arrive at it experientially… beyond just its intellectual
understanding … one needs to travel the full path of gyan! So to keep it simple
and yet all encompassing hear its message
deeply yet lightly:
For it speaks about
the equanimity that arises beyond debate, discussion, theory,
beliefs and beyond life's changing experiences, events, ups and
downs. It speaks of
surrender and empowerment; It speaks of inaction
in action;
It speaks of a
restful but eternal growth and expansion even when we feel we
have arrived;
It speaks of moving
away from opposites and adjectives and extremes of emotion...
from loving too much or hating .... into 'it is it is'
It speaks of moving
away from choices made in advance -of your actions- of
'not' going to do that or 'only going to do this... into every
action in the Now is appropriate
It speaks of moving
away from opinions to a joyful
acceptance of how everything and every view point and every idea is what makes
up the perfect whole and 'i' only play my part
It speaks about
conscious knowledge that has permeated the subconscious and reached the
unconscious...stirred it...into becoming...A wealth so deep the world cannot take it from you with fire or
sword!
